Purpose of the application
Varkuna Connect is a connection management and file transfer tool developed to manage remote connections such as SSH, Telnet, FTP, FTPS and SFTP.
User responsibility
The user must use Varkuna Connect only on servers, systems and accounts that they are authorized to access.
The user is responsible for the following:
- Accuracy of the connection information entered into the application
- Security of the username, password, key file, optional passphrase and other authentication information
- Terminal and file operations performed on remote systems
- Authorization to access the connected servers
- Taking necessary backups before deleting, editing, uploading or downloading files
- Security of the device on which the application is used
Prohibited uses
Varkuna Connect may not be used for unauthorized access, data theft, harming third-party systems, security attacks, abuse or any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations.
Third-party servers
Varkuna Connect may connect to remote servers specified by the user. These servers are not operated or controlled by Varkuna. Varkuna is not responsible for access issues, data loss, misconfiguration, connection interruptions or actions performed by the user on third-party servers.
File operations and data loss
File upload, download, delete, rename, edit or permission change operations performed through the application are the responsibility of the user. The user is responsible for taking necessary backups before performing operations on important files.
Credentials
The user is responsible for the security of passwords, key files, optional passphrases, server addresses and other access information. Varkuna is not responsible for issues that may arise from sharing this information with unauthorized persons or using it in insecure environments.
No warranty
Varkuna Connect is provided as is. It is not guaranteed that the application will work uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every usage scenario on every system. The user is responsible for testing the application in their own system environment.
Limitation of liability
Varkuna is not responsible for direct or indirect damages, data losses, connection errors, credential security issues or problems that may occur on remote systems as a result of the use or misuse of the application.
Updates
Varkuna Connect may receive updates, bug fixes or feature changes over time. These Terms of Use may also be updated when necessary. The current version is published on the official Varkuna website.
