Varkuna Connect 1.0.5
A broad maintenance release for file transfers, connection stability, terminal usability and diagnostics.
File transfers
- A transfer queue was added for FTP and SFTP, with separate waiting, running, completed, failed and cancelled states
- Folder transfers now expose child files in the queue and multi-selection behavior was improved
- Retry, remove and clear-completed flows were added for failed, cancelled and finished transfer items
- The transfer queue panel can now be resized and its status filters were made easier to scan
File management
- FTP/SFTP file lists, context menus and empty-space actions were refined
- The file permissions dialog was redesigned so chmod operations are easier to understand
- A custom folder picker was added for choosing the default local folder
Connections and terminal
- Disconnect, tab-close and application-close behavior was hardened for SSH, Telnet, FTP and SFTP sessions
- Terminal theme options were expanded and terminal search readability was improved
- Clearer warnings are now shown before closing tabs or the application while connections are active
Connection list and quick connect
- The sidebar connection list now includes type filters, search and collapse/expand support
- Saved connections can now be ordered manually
- Quick-connect history and saving a quick connection as a saved profile were added
Security
- SHA256 and MD5 fingerprint display was improved for SSH and SFTP host keys
- Server-name and TLS certificate verification was strengthened for FTPS connections
- Viewing, copying and removing saved host keys was improved
Diagnostics and support
- Rotating logs now store only warnings and errors while masking sensitive values
- System information and logs can now be collected in a secure ZIP error report
- The error-report flow was adjusted to exclude sensitive information such as passwords and private keys
